Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services) – Liverpool – circa £50,000

We are recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer for a specialist engineering company based in Liverpool which install electrical, mechanical and also plumbing services in the North West. The role of Mechanical Design Engineer is a new position within the company as they continue to grow their mechanical design team.

Responsibilities

As Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for using your expertise to assist more junior members of the design team You will play an important role in developing designs for building services for mainly public health services using your CAD skills and also Revit tasks.

Requirements:

To be suitable for the role of Mechanical Design Engineer you will ideally have the following:

• A strong background in design engineering and mechanical building services
• Experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Revit
• Professional engineering qualification
• CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers)
• Thermal modelling experience would be very useful.
