Director / Recruiter in FMCG / Manager of Transport and Logistics team
After training and working briefly as a journalist after university, I moved into recruitment in 2014, focusing on supply chain and logistics. Following a couple of promotions, I moved into a role as a Key Account Manager in Supply Chain and Logistics, with a focus on the food industry. I now manage our Transport and Logistics team while focusing on my own Food and FMCG division.
Skills and personality traits
I'm thoughtful and creative, and a real people person. I'm responsible for managing Quay's HR function so listening skills are also one of my strengths.
I captain the Quay FC Sunday League team and I’m a keen baker - I won the office baking competition with my three-tiered Oreo cake!
What makes you tick?
Finding the right person for a vacancy has always been the best feeling for me – believe it or not there are times when you make the initial call to a candidate and you just know he or she will get the job at the end of the process! I also love hearing about what my clients do outside of the office; as a keen traveller it's interesting to hear about anywhere exciting they've been recently.
We started Quay as although I really enjoyed working for my previous employer, I felt there were things that could definitely be improved on, for both candidates and clients. Now we have employed staff, it makes my day to see them succeed and build relationships with their own clients, as I did when I first joined the recruitment industry five years ago.All bios
