Our client is a UK-based ophthalmic company in the pharmaceutical industry. They are an SME with around 50 employees, based in Hampshire.
The requirement
The client was looking for an individual with heavy supply chain experience in the medical devices or pharmaceuticals industries.
They were looking to build their supply chain and to do that, they needed someone who had experience of this as well as extensive experience of growing that side of the business.
The challenge
The client was encountering challenges in their recruitment search as they could not find anyone with the right level of experience.
Our solution
Quay contacted the company’s MD with details of a highly experienced supply chain manager that they were confident would be ideal for the role. The MD liked the sound of the candidate and after interview, offered the job to that individual.
The outcome
The client was happy with the service provided by Quay because they showcased the right candidate at the right time and the fit was perfect for both parties.
The client is continuing to use Quay’s services and a partnership is being established. Since this initial placement, Quay have successfully recruited a further three candidates to roles within the company.
